The whole pour in one place: a recipe in percentages or grams, every batch traced by lot, the IFRA fragrance load checked, the CLP hazard cues and allergens surfaced for your label, and the cost per candle known before you price it.
Work a wax and fragrance blend as percentages of the pour, or as actual weights — Alchemis keeps both consistent. Change the fragrance load and the wax redistributes; lock the ones you don't want touched. Scale a 500 g test up to a 4 kg run and every weight comes with it.
Each pour gets a lot number, a make date, production steps with heat and pour temperatures, photos from along the way, and an activity log. Assign fragrance to the right step, mark it complete and split it into finished candles — each carrying its lot, so you always know what went into which.
Candles and home fragrance sit under IFRA Category 12. As you build the recipe, Alchemis checks your fragrance load against the Cat 12 limits — from the constituents you enter or the supplier IFRA certificate. When something's above the limit, it states the actual number and proposes a fix — in amber, never as a violation.
Best-effort guidance to catch issues early, never a certification. Always defer to your own supplier documentation and a qualified assessor.
A scented candle is a mixture under CLP, not a cosmetic. Alchemis builds the label hazard block for you — the GHS07 pictogram, the signal word "Warning," H317 ("May cause an allergic skin reaction") and the EUH208 fragrance-allergen line — chosen by product category, with PCN/UFI and SDS notes as guidance. It's a starting point to work from, not a classification.
These are advisory cues, never a CLP classification or certification. The full classification, the safety data sheet, and the poison-centre notification (PCN with a UFI) remain your responsibility.
From your fragrance composition or the supplier IFRA certificate, Alchemis detects the EU fragrance allergens present and lists them for the EUH208 statement — the "contains …" line a candle label needs. You enter the composition or the cert; nothing is invented, and the final wording stays yours to confirm.
Wax, wick, fragrance, vessel, packaging — every cost rolls up from your supplier prices into a per-candle COGS. Set a margin or a markup and Alchemis suggests the selling price, so you price from the real number instead of a guess.
IFRA checks, CLP label cues, allergen detection, batch tracking and cost per candle — for candles and five other crafts. Free forever for hobbyists.
